The Oregon pneumatic seed drill for cereals stands out for its particular distribution system divided into 4 batchers equipped with 5 spools each which can be excluded or used in the delicate activity of distributing and selecting the seeds, according to the seed type. The 4 batchers are connected to 4 mushroom-type grain mixers. Each of the latter feeds a seeding section measuring from a minimum of 100 cm to a maximum of 150 cm to guarantee a regular distribution of the seeds on all working width. Two types of coulter are available: the suffolk coulter is ideal in light soil and with well-prepared seed beds; the double disc coulter is used for heavy soil with crop residues. The double disc version can also be fitted with a rear seed pressing wheel which limits the seeding depth and ensures a perfect compaction of the soil on the row.
