Transplanter mulcher capable of rolling both polyethylene and biodegradable plastic film, fixing it to the ground, perforating it and semi-automatically planting pressed cubic sods through it. Its average output is 5,000 plants per hour per row. The machine can be assembled with three types of frame: frame for plastic film with width of 1400–1600, 1600–1800 or 1700–1900 mm. In the case of widths other than those indicated, it is possible to build special frames. The frames can contain a different number of transplanted elements depending on the client’s requirements. Each operator, with the help of a blade, can use a different number of elements. Every row is equipped with a feeding belt which separates the clods from one another and inserts them, through the hole made by the perforator in the plastic film, in a furrow made by a share which operates simultaneously under the film. The operation is managed by a synchronised system of pincers. The real innovation of this machine is its extraordinary output, thanks to general electronic management, as well as the ability to set the distance using a digital keyboard. One of the fundamental components is the adjustable and independent perforating device, which is however synchronised with the system which takes and inserts the plant in the hole. This permits a gap in the cover, which can never remain above and suffocate the plant beneath the plastic film. A further distinct improvement is the grip to ground system beneath and to the side of the cube compared to conventional systems.
