BCS expands its range of front disc mowers with the new Rotex Edelweiss, lighter and more compact machines for use in Alpine applications and for coupling with all types of tractors, including isodiametric and mountain specials. Rotex Edelweiss is available with 5, 6 and 7 disc with cutting widths of up to 2.85 mt. The Rotex Avant NT range is all-rounder, but it's even lighter and compact thanks to the chassis, transmission and Of the bar control box now largely made of light alloy. The bar is also protected from both front and rear of a synthetic fabric instead of metallic lathes, while the transmission loose gears are unchanged, gears in oil bath to ensure maximum reliability and minimal maintenance. For the same reason, the clutches and free wheels that safeguard the transmissions work in a closed enclosure and oil bath integrated into the control bracket behind the first disc to reduce the size and facilitate the decomposition of the fried forage. The cutting bar is characterized by shaft gears with dowel anchors equipped with torque limiter to prevent damage to disks and structures in case of violent shocks against rocks or boulders.
